Every team needs a captain to organise them and BOECC has been lucky over the years to have had some great ones.
The Saturday XIs are the heartbeat of the club and here is the list of all those to have volunteered to lead dating back to 1963. Work is ongoing to collate records from before this time.
Cricket does not just exist on Saturdays however and we have several other teams with captaincy records dating back to 2009. Of course, there have been informal arrangements for the century before this, and work is ongoing to collate records from this time.
