Junior season wraps up, senior season continues.

Weekly update on what's coming up for BOE CC, plus results from last week. Full details for all training and fixtures can be found within Pitchero.

Senior Cricket This Week (22 - 28 July):

  • TUESDAY - Midweek XI vs Public Services T20 Tournament (away).
  • WEDNESDAY - Training at Barn Elms Sports Trust (7-9pm).
  • SATURDAY - 1st XI vs Wandsworth (home), 2nd XI vs Sheen Park (away), 3rd XI vs Hampton Hill (home), 4th XI vs Surrey Titans (away),
  • SUNDAY - Sunday XI vs Outwood (away).

Senior Cricket Last Week (15 - 21 July):

  • 1st XI lost vs Sutton Challengers by 36 runs (scorecard here) in Surrey County League 1st XI Division 2 (table here). Matt Bartlett )3/29) was the pick of the bowlers as the opposition scored 234/8 from 45 overs. Fergus Ainsworth (72) held the chase together, but at 149/7 victory looked unlikely. James Gawn (39) hit some huge 6s to breathe life back into the contest, but sadly Bank ran out of steam at 198 all out with two overs remaining.
  • 2nd XI lost vs Sutton Challengers by 119 runs (scorecard here) in Surrey County League 2nd XI Division 1 (table here). Numayr Hussain (4/51) helped Bank turn things around from 96/0 to bowling the opposition out for 206. Mahad Khan (38) top scored but help elsewhere was lacking, as Bank fell to 87 all out.
  • 3rd XI lost vs Hampton Wick Royal by 151 runs (scorecard here) in Surrey Championship 3rd XI Division 6 Central (table here). Richard Down (3/21) rolled back the years but couldn't prevent the opposition reaching 215/6. Peter Andrews (24) top scored having been recruited at 45 minutes notice before the game, but Bank could only reach 64 all out.
  • Sunday XI lost vs Tilford by 17 runs (scorecard here). Skipper Mo Dilshad (6/53) kept the opposition to 208/9, before Bank seta bout the chase in rapid fashion. Runs flowed steadily but so did wickets, with James Gawn (36) top scoring. Unfortunately luck didn't last and Bank came up just short on 191 all out.
  • 1s T20 Cup XI lost vs Ewell by 116 runs (scorecard here). The opposition batting was excellent and smashed 209/1 with Nathan Vince taking the only wicket to fall. Josh Bastian (23) top scored but Bank could muster just 93/7 in response.
